Gabriela Lopez, MSW, RSW

Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist

Gabriela is a Registered Social Worker with experience supporting children, youth, young adults, and families across mental health, community, housing, and social service settings. She is passionate about creating a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their healing journey. Her clinical experience includes working with individuals experiencing anxiety, emotional dysregulation, trauma, stress, self-esteem challenges, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. She draws from CBT, DBT-informed, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered approaches, tailoring care to each client’s unique needs and goals. She believes therapy works best when clients feel safe, respected, and able to show up authentically.

She also holds a Master of Social Work at the University of Toronto with a specialization in Children, Youth, and Families as well as Honours Bachelor of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University. Outside of work, Gabriela enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new coffee shops, listening to music, and finding small ways to stay grounded and balanced in everyday life. She values authenticity, compassion, and connection and strives to bring those qualities into her work with clients every day.
