Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist & Family Mediator

Hi 👋 I’m Nokha.

I’m a Clinical Supervisor, Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist and Family Mediator with over 15 years of experience working in hospitals, primary care, community settings and private practice.

Over the course of my career, I’ve had the opportunity to support people through some of the most challenging moments of their lives. My experience includes working in ICU, Emergency Departments, Acute Care and mental health at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga Hospital and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I was also the Social Worker assigned to the Pandemic Response Unit.

These experiences have shaped the way I approach therapy today. I practice from a trauma-informed, eclectic approach, drawing from multiple therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I believe therapy should be tailored to the person or relationship in front of me rather than follow a one-size-fits-all approach.

How I Help Couples

Relationships can be complicated, and even couples who deeply care about each other can find themselves caught in patterns of conflict, disconnection or misunderstanding.

I help couples work through relationship issues, improve communication and better understand the patterns underneath their conflict. Together, we can explore what is happening beneath the surface and work toward creating greater connection, understanding and security in your relationship.

How I Help Individuals

I support individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges and difficult life circumstances.

Sometimes you may know exactly what you want to work on. Other times, you may simply know that you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck or not quite like yourself. Therapy can provide a space to slow down, understand what you're experiencing and develop practical tools to move forward.

My goal is to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can be honest about what you're going through and work toward meaningful change.

Family Mediation

In addition to psychotherapy, I provide family mediation services for families navigating separation and divorce. My goal is to help families work through difficult decisions and communicate more effectively during what can be an incredibly challenging transition.

I’m currently accepting new clients and offer individual and couples therapy, as well as family mediation services.
